About Us
For three years my husband and three kids had been pleading to buy a "Staffy". A few friends owned Staffords, some registered and some not. I did a lot of research and investigating before I realised that this breed would be suitable for my family. I decided straight away that I wanted to do it right the first time and started talking to registered breeders.
We bought our first Stafford in 2006. Redshirestaf Rusticrambo came into our lives like a mellow old man! Crunch immediately came in and took over our home and lives, we did nothing without thinking about him first. To say he was spoilt was an understatement!
He was treated like one of the family from the start. Initially he was bought as a pet. After his last needles and discussions with his breeder, I decided I would give showing a go. His breeders at Redshirestaf, Tennille and Chris also decided to give showing a go with Crunch's brother Cuda.
I was hooked! It was difficult at times having a red dog as there were black/brindle dogs as far as the eye could see with red being a definite minority, but he loved it and so did I.
We decided when Crunch was 14 months, that we wanted another Stafford. We decided to get a girl this time - black/brindle. We asked around the ring and found that breeders by the name of Charmstaff Staffords (Mark and Christie) were expecting their first litter any day.
Well eight weeks later we brought Charmstaff La Islabonita home. Bonnie came into our lives like a hurricane! She was very active and a great fan of any ball. It wasn't long before our boys had her out fielding, in their games of backyard cricket!
Crash came into our lives through the mating of Crunch and Bonnie. The aim of this mating was to combine the best features of both dogs. He is just beautiful in nature and a bigger "type" which is what I like.
Crunch left our lives in 2010 due to an accident.
Summah came into our lives from Queensland. Her breeders at Borolo, Charlotte and Allen have been very helpful and knowledgeable in the short time we have known them. Summah is a very active girl who likes to know everything that is going on. Her favourite pastime is annoying Crash and Bonnie! She is no longer living with us due to circumstances we were not able change, she is now loving life in a "single" dog family.
Tilly is the result of Bonnies third and final litter, she was a singleton puppy and was always meant to stay with us!
Kobi loves the show ring as much as lounging on the couch he is a very sweet and affectionate boy.
Daisy is our little pocket rocket, she was not meant for the show ring but is such a pretty little girl and keeps our eldest son on his toes!
Candy is the "sweetest girl in the world", she is Kobi's daughter and a real sweetheart.
Sheldon, is now the dog "man" of my life, he is the result of mating Crash and Candy, the sweetest, smoochiest boy just like his dad. We are having fun in the show ring.
Missy is the result of Boogie, who still resides in his home country of Denmark and Candy. She is the sweetest dog who is very active and has gone to live with our daughter in NSW.
Our dogs are part of our family first and foremost, they love going camping with us and enjoy our home life just as much, they let us share their couch occasionally!!!
As breeders we will offer life long advice and any assistance that any new puppy owner may need.
We would like to thank all of those who have helped us with our journey so far!
